A lifetime of loving animals led to my involvement in animal welfare in 2001. Over the years, I have obtained my CPDT (Certified Professional Dog Trainer) as well as becoming a level 1 Tellington Touch practitioner. I have also completed a Diploma in Canine Fitness from CASI (Companion Animal Sciences Institute) and hold professional membership in both the Canadian Association of Professional Dog Trainers (CAPPDT) and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT).

On the hiking side, I have been hiking in the Rocky Mountains for 30 years as well as other parts of Canada. I am certified as an Outdoor Leader for level 1 hiking terrain by the Outdoor Council of Canada and have my Apprentice Hiking Guide Certification from the Interpretive Guides Associaiton.

I currently share my life with 2 canines: a shepherd cross and an Australian cattle dog. I am blessed to live very close to the Rocky Mountains and the 3 of us take full advantage of the hiking opportunities that abound there.

Hope to see you on the trails or in private training with us some day soon.
